During the 1990’s,this 7 speed 2 stroke was the arch-rival to Aprilia’s AF1 125 FUTURA & later the RS125, a similar 2-stroke 125 cc race-replica. Valentino Rossi’s first proper bike was a Cagiva Mito 125cc which he raced in the 1993 125cc Italian Sport Production Championship.

Once the machine detailing was complete Daniel used Gtechniq C1 crystal lacquer NANO sealant. This lacquer fills the imperfections in the paints surface, stopping the water & dirt getting trapped in those imperfections. It’s design is taken from the Lotus flower which has a completely flat surface, making water bead off naturally.

The Gtechniq C1 crystal lacquer is applied with a small soft cotton pad to avoid any scratches to the paint surface. The ceramic seal that this creates, behaves as a protective barrier, preventing light scratching. This is Concours D’Elegance level detailing.

Friday morning saw a Triumph Trophy with a running issue join us.

The customer advised as he arrived, that he had not been able to get the bike above 50mph on the journey to the workshop. When Daniel ran the Trophy, it sounded like it was only firing on 2 cylinders.

Following an investigation, it appears that the ECU has misfired & in the process of doing so, has burnt out a coil. Our customer has authorised the works to be completed & parts are now being ordered.

The final bike on the ramp was an immaculate Kawasaki Z1000SX. The Z1000SX joined us for some security upgrades.
